Configure the digital input DI 5 for the fast stop

Qualified person

Requirements:

A switch for a fast stop must be connected to the digital input DI 5.
The inverter to which the switch is connected, must be configured as System Manager.
The user interface must be open and you must be logged in as Installer or Administrator.

Procedure:

Select the product in the focus navigation.
Select the menu Configuration.
Select the menu item I/O configurations.
Select the type of the I/O channel Digital input.
Select the use for the digital input Signal fast stop.
Select the System Manager to which the switch for the fast stop is connected.
Select the digital input 5.
If necessary, activate inversion of the signal. To decide whether an inversion is necessary, you can see in the live transmission if a signal is applied to the digital input (active) or not (inactive).
Assign the name of the I/O channel (e.g. fast stop).
Click on [Save].
