Integrating an energy meter into systems with System Manager via Modbus

To record consumption or generation values, additional energy meters can be integrated into a system with System Manager directly via Modbus. The recorded measured values are then available for visualization and evaluation in Sunny Portal powered by ennexOS.

Integration is carried out via the Modbus interface of the respective meter. After successful configuration and assignment of the relevant registers, the measured data are read out cyclically and processed in the system. This allows both consumption and generation amounts to be displayed and used for other energy management functions.
