Creating a New Modbus Client Profile

Requirements:

Procedure:

Select the system in the focus navigation.
Select the menu item Device administration in the Configuration menu.
Select the button.
Select Modbus devices and confirm with [Next].
Select Manage Modbus profiles.
Select Create a new Modbus profile.
Fill out the entry fields and select [Save]. The device type and the mapping template, for example, specify the required Modbus registers.
If needed, Modbus-client profiles can be exported as JSON files and imported to other System Managers. To do this, open the profile in the list Manage Modbus profiles and export accordingly via [Export]. Import takes place at the same location when a new Modbus profile is created.
