DC cable requirements

  • Aluminum or copper wires must be used.

  • Connectable conductor cross-section: 50 mm² to 95 mm²

  • External diameter of the battery power cable: 12 mm to 20 mm

  • The DC cables must be sized for the maximum battery voltage and the maximum battery current (see battery manufacturer documentation).

  • The DC cables must be equipped with suitable terminal lugs for DC connection in the inverter. The DC cables in the inverter are equipped with terminal lugs made of tinned copper.
