Procedure for commissioning in systems without System Manager
Qualified person
This section describes the procedure of commissioning an inverter that is used in systems without System Manager (e.g. SMA Data Manager).
It provides an overview of the steps, which must be performed in the prescribed sequence.

The system password is also the password for the user interface
The system password assigned via the System Manager is also the password for the user interface of the inverter.
Procedure | See | |

Commission the inverter.
Establish a connection to the user interface of the inverter. There are various connection options to choose from for this:
| ( > Establishing a Direct Connection via Ethernet) ( > Establishing a Connection via Ethernet in the local network) | |
Log into the user interface.
Select the inverter configuration option. Please note that the SMA Grid Guard code for changing the grid-relevant parameters must be available after completion of the first ten feed-in hours or installation assistant. You can request the SMA Grid Guard code via the Online Service Center. | ( > Carry out the configuration using the installation assistant)
Only for SHP FLEX-US: Set power, AC voltage and electric current and mark the set values using the supplied permanent marker on the label next to the type label.
If necessary, set the parameters for voltage and frequency monitoring. | ( > Adjustable parameters for voltage and frequency monitoring)
Ensure that the country standard has been configured correctly.
Make further inverter settings as needed. |
