Decommissioning the Product
WARNING
Danger to life due to electric shock
Lethal voltages are present at the connection point of the utility grid. This can result in death or serious injury.
- Disconnect the connection point from the utility grid using the separator (e.g. circuit breaker).
- Release the 3-pole terminal block of the power supply unit using a suitable tool and pull out of the Power Input jack.
- Remove grounding cable. Loosen the screw on the ring terminal lug (PH1).
- Release and remove the RJ45 plug of the network cable and pull out of the network port.
- Release the 5-pole terminal blocks using a suitable tool and pull out of the DI/DO port.
- Disassembling the product:
If mounted on a DIN rail, take the product down from the DIN rail. To do this, release the lock of the DIN rail bracket using a suitable tool and remove the product upwards from the DIN rail.
Reset the released lock of the DIN rail to its original position. To do this, press against the clamp in the opening of the lock using a suitable tool.
If mounted to a wall, unscrew the screws from the wall mounting bracket and remove the product.
- If the product is to be disposed of, dispose of the product in accordance with the locally applicable disposal regulations for electronic waste.
