The Sunny Tripower Hybrid X as System Manager can perform the following tasks together with the energy meter: Collection of energy- and power measured values in the interconnected household Energy monitoring: display energy flows via the SMA Energy App and Sunny Portal powered by ennexOS Dynamic limiting of the active power feed-in Central control of energy flows for several inverters in parallel operation
The Sunny Tripower Hybrid X uses the function of the Energy Planner for energy management such as: Manual planning and control of energy flows Manual battery control (charging, discharging, SOC specifications) Configuration of load profiles Fundamental analysis of the energy distribution in Sunny Portal Individual adjustment of operating parameters Use of energy management without automatic optimization Automatic load control of the SMA eCharger
The activation of SMA Premium (including Energy Maximizer) enables the use of additional functions for the System Manager such as: Forecast-based battery use Optimization of dynamic electricity tariffs Prevention of derating losses with active power limitation Fully automatic optimization of energy flows based on PV, load and tariff forecasts
