System requirements for the Energy Management powered by ennexOS

  • No Sunny Home Manager 2.0 can be configured as a main device in the system.
  • A product powered by ennexOS ( > Validity) must be registered and configured as the System Manager (see the user manual "Operation of the User Interface of Products powered by ennexOS").
  • Energy management must be enabled on the user interface of the System Manager.
  • The system must be captured in Sunny Portal powered by ennexOS.
  • Battery control via a third-party energy management system (e.g., Modbus RTU) must not be enabled.
  • An energy meter must be installed at the point of interconnection.
  • Depending on normative requirements, the limitation at the point of interconnection must be correctly set.
  • The system must be configured with self-consumption.
  • In systems with more than 5 inverters, an SMA Data Manager M must be configured as the System Manager in certain cases (see technical information "Compatibility of SMA Devices").
  • PV modules must be available and connected in the system.
  • The system settings for tariffs, system location, system power and PV module alignment must be correct.
