Connecting signal source to X3

Additionally required material:

  • Digital signal source with up to 4 potential-free contacts

  • 1 connection cable

Requirements:

  • The signal source must be technically suitable for connection to the digital inputs.

  • The connected digital signal source has a safe separation to the grid potential. When connecting the digital signal source the potential-free contact or an external potential-free contact is used.

  • The connection cable must be prepared for connection to the multipole terminal block.

Procedure:

  1. Connect the connection cable to the digital signal source (see the manual from manufacturer).
  2. Connect the connection cable to the supplied six-pole plug. For this, unlock the required terminal positions using a suitable tool and plug the conductors into these terminal positions.
  3. Connect the six-pole plug to terminal X3. Observe the pin assignment.
  4. Note the terminal assignment.
