Additional Inverters

The system may contain additional SMA inverters that convert the direct current from the PV modules into grid-compliant alternating current. The Sunny Boy Smart Energy can convert the alternating current generated by the additional inverters into direct current and feed it into the battery. Even in secure power supply and battery-backup operation, electric current generated by additional single-phase inverters can be used.

When the Sunny Boy Smart Energy is configured as System Manager, it can control the additional inverters.

Additional inverters must be configured as servers.
