Arc-Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI)
Qualified person
The arc fault circuit interrupter (AFCI) can be activated with immediate operation inhibition, activated without operation inhibition or activated with operation inhibition after 5 detections within 24 hours.
You can set the arc-fault circuit interrupter using the following parameter.
Name | Group | Settings |
---|---|---|
AFCI | Device > Inverter > AFCI switched on | Yes No |
You can use the following parameter to set the manual restart after an arc fault detection.
Name | Group | Settings | Description |
---|---|---|---|
Manual restart after arc detection | Device > Inverter > Manual restart after arc fault detection | On | Manual restart after each detected electric arc. As soon as an electric arc is detected by the inverter, the inverter stops operation. |
Off | No manual restart. The inverter detects an electric arc, briefly interrupts feed-in operation, and then resumes feed-in operation. | ||
Yes, after 5 electric arc detections within 24 hrs | The inverter detects electric arcs and attempts to extinguish them by briefly interrupting the feed-in operation. If more than 5 electric arcs are detected within 24 hours, the inverter stops operation. |
Resetting operation inhibition
You can reset the operation inhibition using the following parameter.
Name | Group | Settings |
---|---|---|
Reset operating data | Device > Operation > Reset operating data | Reset operation inhibition |
