Defining Statistical Charging Station Usage
Driving profiles including statistical usage behavior can be added on the page Energy system page under Loads > Mobility ( > Configuring Loads).
To improve charging behavior planning, 2 different options are available:
Option | Explanation |
---|---|
Queuing | It is assumed that the majority of vehicles is waiting for a free charging station. |
Skipping the charging process | It is assumed that the majority of vehicles is skipping the charging process. |
To improve charging time planning, 2 different options are available:
Option | Explanation |
---|---|
Vehicle leaves the charging station upon completing the length of stay (e.g., grocery store) | It is assumed that the majority of vehicles is not charging to full capacity. |
Vehicle is being fully charged. | It is assumed that the majority of vehicles is charging to full capacity. |
Procedure:
- To select a template regarding the statistical usage of the charging station, click on [Select template].
- Enter the maximum charging power range of the arriving vehicles in the respective fields.
- Select the desired option button in the Behavior when more vehicles are arriving than charging stations are available field.
- Select the expected charging behavior of the vehicles under the Charging time option button.
- To configure the number for vehicles and distribution of their arrival times over the course of 24 hours, click on [Add new arrival profile] and make the corresponding settings.
- To assign an arrival profile to a certain day of the week, enable or disable the corresponding weekdays within the required arrival profile. Enabled weekdays are highlighted in blue.
- To delete profiles, click on the trash can icon of the corresponding arrival profile
